Examples of low to high phases of Earth Tide signals.

Earth Tide going from Minimum to Maximum Example

During the time of maximum tide signals, the earthquake signals can be very hard to detect.  That is the reason for a smoother curve on the chart as it reaches maximum signal.
These are just two points in the 28 day orbit of the moon around earth.

If you would like to find where the moon is at any time in its orbit a good place to view it is at this address.  >>>

Earthquakes happen around the world at an amazing rate.  Most are small but almost continuous.   After being able to receive the Earth Tide signals, I was informed by earthquake experts in Japan that the spikes seen in the picture below are actually earthquakes modulating the Earth Tide signals.  These are smaller signals compared to the total worlds oceans signals.  So to bring these up for timing purposes two methods of signal peak enhancement is being used in the plot below to demonstrate that ability.  This has the ability to pull the small earthquake peaks up out of the lower background Earth Tide signals.  The plot needs to be run faster for this use however. This is a slow approximate 6 day speed across the plot. Only about 1 days signals shown in the plot below.

Shown below is a 1-5 minute scale which seems best for resolving earthquakes.

Increasing the plot speed allows 1 minute time marks same as the USGS being used to verify quakes.  This allows very precise time comparisons using GPS time.
